Our Mission
The Dapplegray Booster Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose goal is to enhance the educational experience of all Dapplegray Elementary students through various fundraising efforts.
Since 2005, The Dapplegray Booster Club has worked tirelessly to ensure social and academic excellence for every student.
Every year with the help of your membership, donations and participation in fundraising events, the Dapplegray Booster Club spends on average $400 per student to make Dapplegray a shining example of education and community. By providing world-class programs, activities, field trips and educational supplies, we work on behalf of every child at Dapplegray to take the elementary experience above and beyond.
With the help and generosity of parents and our sponsors, the Booster Club has successfully bridged the district funding gap and brought priceless experiences to students for over a decade.
The Booster Club is a tax-exempt charitable organization with 501(c)(3) status and every dollar of every donation, goes back to the school and children. A priceless investment.
Dapplegray Elementary consistently tests in the top 3% of California elementary schools and The Booster Club seeks to continue to fund engaging social and educational programs for the kids.
District funding stops well short of the amount needed to provide the experience we all expect and hope for our young students. From providing extra technology to campus improvements, supplies and arts programs, the school year is filled with opportunities to see your dollars in action as the Dapplegray Booster Club supplements the school.
From Chromebooks, iPads and Stem Kits to software subscriptions and supplemental training for teachers, the Booster Club provides the technology to help Dapplegray Students stay ahead of our fast moving world.
A visual arts education program started in 1976 by PVAC volunteers dismayed by the loss of art education in the schools, volunteer docents attend ten on-site workshops in order to deliver five, quality, standards-based art projects on campus.
The Dapplegray Booster Club funds both the Red and Yellow week assemblies, as well as the Walk through California and Walk through The Revolution Assemblies which give students unique opportunities outside the classroom.
Field Trips, the Garden, Transportation, Campus Improvements, Disaster Preparedness supplies, Playground Equipment, Classroom Supplies, Camp Outs, Archaeological Digs and so much more!
The true strength of our Dapplegray Booster Club are the volunteers and Board.
